NaBloWriMo: Day 13

Today's blog post brought to you by the word "accountable."

According to the dictionary, "Accountable" means:
Liable to being called to account; answerable.
Today I was told that I needed to work on my accountability. Huh. You see, that's interesting, because I tend to hold myself accountable even for things that aren't my responsibility.  But ok.  I guess I'll work on my accountability.

::blink blink::

Ok, so, that aside, my day was pretty boring, as usual.  Work is kind of frustrating right now - well, more frustrating than normal, I suppose.  One of the projects that I'm working on is turning out to be more of a mess than I originally thought it would be.  I'll still try to make my deadline of Friday, but it's going to be interesting. I may have to see if I can push it out to Monday so I can do a bit of work on it over the weekend.

It's kind of funny - I thought I'd have no problems working this project based off of another project because they are so similar but, as it turns out, there are just enough differences that it's making it rather difficult to use the original structure.  I think it'll still be done more quickly this way rather than building it up from scratch, but it's still going to be quite the process.

And now onto more of the complaining department of this blog post... my wisdom tooth is bugging me again. It feels like I have a major canker sore back there or something.  Uggh!  I know I should probably bite the bullet and get my two wisdom teeth pulled but I'll admit it - when it comes to dentistry, I'm a bit of a chicken.  I can watch my own surgeries but dental stuff... eep! I think the main reason is because I can't see what they're doing when they're inside of my mouth and then my imagination takes over.  I have a very active imagination, ya know... s'probably why I love NaNoWriMo. LOL!  But back to the tooth... the two that I have are mostly in, and they're straight, and the only affect I've noticed them having on my teeth is that they've been pushed so close together that it makes flossing difficult.  Anyway, every 4-6 months or so one of them will start to come in further or whatever and it makes the whole area really swollen and sore for a few days - then it's fine again for another 1/3 - 1/2 of a year. LOL.

I'm just a little ray of fucking sunshine, aren't I? LOL!
