NaBloWriMo: Day 17

See? Told ya I'd write again today. Bwahahaha!

So today was the big Meet-N-Greet for the Denver region of NaNoWriMo! It was great to meet some new people and catch up with some peeps from the past. I really think we're going to have a great group down here this year!!

This year I'm an ML (Municipal Liaison) for the Denver region - more specifically the Southern part of Denver (since I live in Parker and work practically in Lone Tree). I'll be hosting a couple of write-ins this year - 2 per week - so hopefully I'll get some people to show up at them! LOL!

I can't believe it's mid-October already. NaNoWriMo is literally right around the corner - two weeks away! Eep!! I still don't have a plot.  I have, however, been challenged to write a 22 chapter novel with each chapter's title being the name of a card of the Major Arcana in a tarot deck. I've pretty much accepted the challenge - now the question is, What do I do with it?  I probably won't bother outlining anything... when I tried to do that last year it was horrible.  The story, I mean. The first NaNo I won I didn't have anything in mind - it just all came out, so I'm going to let it do that this time... just with a really minimal framework (the whole Tarot card chapter title thing).  Who knows, I may end up scrapping the Tarot card thingie anyway... LOL!

In other news, my head is still kind of bugging me.  Not horrifically but it's still aching quite a bit.  I'm probably going to make this a short entry so that I can go lie down and let my head rest for a bit. Maybe I'll watch a movie that I can veg out to. Maybe I'll even fall asleep (what a novel concept...)

So with that, I bid you adieu... and a great night!
