NaBloWriMo: Day 8

Snow. You know, that white, cold, wet stuff that falls from the sky. Slightly frozen water. YUCK!

Really, snow is very pretty to look at.  When I can be in my house, curled up in front of the fireplace with a cup of fresh stove-top hot cocoa, knowing that I have no reason whatsoever to go out in that cold.  It's very pretty to look at. Really. Especially the way it just gently blankets the ground, leaves lines of powder along the branches of the trees and the occasional leaves that are still left behind on the tree.  But the cold... oy vey, the cold...

I know it's not really all THAT cold, but to someone with Raynaud's any cold is bad.  So, now that I'm home from work, I can snuggle up in my warm jammies, under my special n-a-p Cuddle Blanket, a cup of yummy hot cocoa, and a couple of good TV shows.  It works for me!  Of course, I still have to get up in the morning and go to work, but at least I can snuggle up and relax for the evening.

Speaking of... I think I'll log off of here and actually enjoy my snuggly evening. Love to everyone!!
